Trying out some North Macedonian Pistachios – great, or disappointing?

After visiting Bulgaria and trying out Sofia’s pistachios, we feel like it’s a fantastic idea for us to check out what their western neighbor has to offer. Next up, North Macedonia!

In North Macedonia, We encountered a couple different types of pistachios. Some were sold openly outside tuck shops just like in Sofia. Others we came across while visiting the local supermarkets. There were multiple brands that looked enticing and peaked our interest, however, one specific one stood out: Panorama Ohrid’s Magic Pistachios!

Ah Prague, with its pretty architecture, glorious Vltava river, streets, history and lively nights– definitely a great city to visit if you’re in Europe. Hi pistachio fans, Today we will talk about some pistachios found during a trip to Lithuania to try to make up to someone I cared about. While walking a bit around the center of Sofia, we stumbled into a shop that looked very promising. With a large choice of roasted nuts of all kinds.The nuts were nicely organized and labeled, the service was good, and the choice incredible. From party peanuts with sour cream, roasted sunflower seeds and almonds, and of course, the reason we are here, beautiful roasted salted pistachios.

After trying some really good pistachios from Romania, we bring to you today a pistachio review from the beautiful country of Bosnia Herzegovina. After crossing the border from Serbia, the land changed into beautiful lakes and forests and mountains leading us to the capital of Sarajevo. Here,  you can enjoy some delicious Burek stuffed with ground beef, visit the beautiful medieval city of Mostar, have some coffee and pistachio baklava, and wander around the streets to get a feel of the the fascinating cultural melting pot of this beautiful and fascinating country. Review: Best Nuts Pistachios from Romania !

For our first review of European pistachios ever, we bring you a taste test of a small bag of pistachios purchased from a supermarket in downtown Bucharest Romania and tested on the same train we took from Bucharest to Bulgaria in which we reviewed some pistachios from Myanmar. Usually when something is self proclaimed “Best” or any similar adjectives in its name it’s usually not a good sign.
